Capsys is a securities and pensions expert IT company. Founded in 1998 by ex-bankers, its mission was to change the traditional attitude towards banking software solutions. Financial experts still often face IT solution providers who don’t understand the financial industry, who have no first hand information about business processes. The communication gap between IT and banking people is obvious to everybody: at Capsys we have the experts who act as interpreters between the two groups.

Capsys understands that for prudent operations appropriate analytical systems are critical. Yet in every organization it is vital that an up-to-date General Ledger Accounting be put in place. Capsys applications are essential sources of GLs. General Ledger uploads from Capsys analytical systems use various well designed interfaces and other upload techniques, yet mapping of analytical accounts to balance sheet accounts is also critical.

Capsys experts worked not only on projects of Capsys own product implementations, but other accounting projects, i.e. include analytical system to ERP system integration,  accounting processes and procedures reviews and reengineering. Consulting work has been done on advisory level also.
It is complex and difficult to establish the accounting processes of a new product in an emerging market, where there is a lack of precedent and local experts.
