OTP Magánnyugdíjpénztár was founded in 1997 by OTP Bank Nyrt. and has been market leader in Hungary in the segment of private pension funds ever since. OTP Önkéntes Nyugdíjpénztár was founded in 1994, becoming a market leader in the segment of voluntary pension funds in 2001, retaining the position ever since. On 31 December, 2007 the Fund had almost 280 thousand members and total assets worth HUF 106 billion. In 2007, the OTP Voluntary Private Pension Fund reached 6.43% (2003-2007: 9.81%) net return on assets. The assets of OTP Voluntary Pension Fund are managed by OTP Fund Management Ltd., which has the appropriate professional knowledge and track record to guarantee well-firmed pensioner years for its members.
